About Us

I am a certified Makeup Artist based in Toronto, ON. I started my career as a business student, obtaining my Advanced Diploma in Human Resources and Bachelor of Commerce. While working as a Marketing and Real Estate Professional, I began freelancing with makeup in 2012. I then started working as a counter artist with MAC Cosmetics and studied the Special Effects Makeup Artistry program with Seneca College; simultaneously running my bridal business.

I grew up on good music and good vibes. My mother is a healthcare professional which always reminded me how important it was to treat others with care. This concept is deeply embedded in our company's mission 'til this day.

The company stems from two of my nicknames. My father always called me his pretty girl and would refer to me as his "dolly baby" in his Jamaican accent. I've had my dreads ever since I was about 3 years old, and in school I adopted the nickname "Dredie". It was that many years ago that DollfaceDredie was born.

DollfaceDredie has since grown now offering makeup and hair services. Weddings are my passion and I love sharing in every client's unique vision.

I'm now a wife (yes newly married) and I am loving every moment of it. My husband is the love of my life and my business partner. If you're a longstanding client, chances are you've met Andrew!
